Mayslack’s isn’t just a bar — it’s a Nordeast landmark. Founded in 1955 by “Handsome Stan” Mayslack, a former pro wrestler and proud son of Polish immigrant parents, this corner tavern on 4th Street NE has been pouring cold beers and stacking legendary garlic roast beef sandwiches for over 70 years.
